Marketing Associate

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and creative skills. This is a time-sensitive position which requires a self-starter with meticulous attention to detail and a strong work ethic. The position is located in Laguna Niguel, CA.

 The Role:
Work closely with management and other internal teams to develop and manage marketing initiatives and events for firm.  Provide administrative support to management.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Create and update marketing collateral, including fact sheets, presentations, brochures and event invitations
  • Plan and execute communications, including newsletters, social media, website, email and Public Relations
    (in coordination with firm’s PR agency)
  • Plan and execute company events from start to finish
  • Work with Investor Services department to analyze new client acquisition statistics, construct client statistic
    studies, and handle client survey analyses


  • Desire and ability to work successfully in an entrepreneur environment
  • Previous experience in a marketing/communications role preferably in the Financial Services industry
  • Previous experience in developing print and on-line content i.e. newsletters, websites, articles
  • Past experience managing social media platforms including LinkedIn
  • Excellent writing and proofreading abilities
  • Superior verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests within deadlines
  • Successful track record in managing projects
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently while also being a team player
  • Personable and possess the ability to communicate with all members of staff and clients
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, InDesign, HTML Javascript and PowerPoint
  • High proficiency in e-mail marketing tools (i.e. Vertical Response, GoToMeeting/Webinar)

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 2-5 years of financial services industry experience; familiarity with investment management
    products and sales and servicing practices
  • Bachelor’s degree with related emphasis
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
